1953 FJ Holden - This beautiful mostly original example came to me with the goal of looking sharp in a modest time frame. I intensively washed the vehicle and degreased the engine and under side of the vehicle. Decontamination of the paintwork followed with strategic multi stage buffing techniques applied to the paintwork. The original chrome was restored and protected. The interior was thoroughly cleaned and all painted surfaces polished. Finally the exterior paintwork was finished with Swissvax Concorso, 50% pure yellow carnauba wax formulated for show vehicles to give exceptional gloss and wow factor.

1953 FJ Holden - This beautiful mostly original example came to me with the goal of looking sharp in a modest time frame. I intensively washed the vehicle and degreased the engine and under side of the vehicle. Decontamination of the paintwork followed with strategic multi stage buffing techniques applied to the paintwork. The original chrome was restored and protected. The interior was thoroughly cleaned and all painted surfaces polished. Finally the exterior paintwork was finished with Swissvax Concorso, 50% pure yellow carnauba wax formulated for show vehicles to give exceptional gloss and wow factor.

1960 Austin Healey 3000 MK1 - originally an Ameri

1960 Austin Healey 3000 MK1 - originally an American delivered car it was imported by the current owner after it had received an extensive restoration. It was converted to right hand drive upon arrival and enjoyed for some time.

I was entrusted to carry out a complete restoration and preservation process on the vehicle. I first started by removing all the pitting from the chrome and polishing. I removed the trims from the tops of the doors and and behind the passenger compartment and polished them extensively as well. The engine bay has been cleaned and polished. Those wire wheels have also been cleaned and polished. On close inspection the paint work still showed signs of orbital and hand sanding marks, plus some swirling and hazing. So a multi stage buffing process was performed to meticulously remove all removable defects. All leather has been cleaned and rejuvenated. Carpets cleaned, soft convertible roof and tonneau cover cleaned and protected. This also included the restoration of the plastic rear screen on the convertible top. I have also cleaned and polished the wheel wells. All of the above was achieved with the Swissvax range, a complete smorgasbord of beautiful hand made products designed for classic vehicles, vintage and enthusiasts. And finally the paintwork, chrome, wheels an engine bay were finished with 76% pure ivory grade one carnauba wax. Swissvax's flag ship wax, Crystal Rock.

S15 Silvia/200SX - I tidied up the bonnet and front bar on this rare R Spec version post re finish. The surface was suffering from orbital sanding marks, buff trails and swirls. I used some strategic buffing to achieve the desired result requested by the customer. And to finish Swissvax Crystal Rock was applied. 76% (most off the shelf products contain about 8%) pure ivory carnauba wax designed to protect and give an endless depth of gloss and hydrophobic properties with the added benefit of genuine UV protection which lasts up to 1 year.

Holden LH Torana - Received a multi stage polishing process with particular emphasis on sanding marks in the quarters and boot lid. With some strategic buffing I was able to remove all the defects in the areas in question. During the process I managed to find more imperfections across the roof bonnet and front left guard, plus moderate swirling over bulk of the vehicle which were all removed. Once complete I tidied up the chrome and applied Swissvax Crystal Rock. Swissvax's flag ship wax containing 76% Brazilian pure ivory carnauba wax. It provides tremendous depth of gloss, clarity and extremely good UV protection. Does not damage your paintwork through chemical etching and can be topped up at any time.

Holden Monaro CV8 in the illusive colour of Turismo blue. Its a hard colour to capture with a very faint pearl within the solid blue. The final edition of the new Monaro is a personal favourite of mine and it was satisfying working with such an example this last week. The paintwork was treated to a multi stage correction process, whilst the interior was thoroughly cleaned and conditioned. BMW E30 325i in the stunning hue of Diamond Schwartz. In some light its black, then silver, or even purple. Some time ago it received a mild restoration, and more recently the bonnet was painted again due to some light damage. The owner requested the vehicle be tidied up with empathis on correcting the buff trails and sanding marks left in the bonnet. I also removed some nibs whilst I was there. A multi stage correction process was carried out not only on the bonnet but the remainder of the paintwork as well. With the finishing touch being Swissvax Crystal Rock. 76% of pure ivory grade one carnauba wax producing immense depth of shine and up to 12 months protection.

Long term restoration- 1962 Jaguar MK11 3.8 manual. A rare automotive gem that was a performance icon of its day. The car arrived at @detailedbyben HQ in a good clean condition. 10 years ago It had received some restoration work which consisted of new exterior paint and replacement the leather and carpet. The rest of the car remains original. My brief was to revive the car to as restored condition as best as possible. Upon close inspection it was clear there was some thorough correction required. The paint work received many stages of polishing and fine finishing before Swissvax Crystal Rock was applied. This is a wax perfectly suited to a job of this intensity. 76% pure ivory carnauba wax designed to protect and give an endless depth shine that only a high qualitycarnaubawax can bring. The original chrome trim has been restored with Swissvax metal poish as well as all the original internal timber trim which has been renewed and treated with Swissvax wood polish. The leather was cleaned and preserved with Swissvax leather soap and Swissvax leather milk. Fabrics, carpets and textiles cleaned with Swissvax fabric cleaner. The engine bay was cleaned, polished and waxed. And finally the 72 spoke wire wheels were meticulously cleaned and protected.

Working today with a vehicle that had been suffering from the first signs of clear coat delimitation and oxidation. Although not a complete correction job the appearance has been significantly improved after the first pass of the buff.
