Located in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Detailed by Ben was established in 2008 and born from a passion for fine cars and detailing perfection. Owner and professional detailer, Ben Loydstrom, prides himself in providing high quality workmanship and attention to detail to satisfy even the most fastidious motoring enthusiast.
Ben has over 15 years professional detailing experience. During this time, he has had the pleasure of working on all types of vehicles including rare vintage classics, custom tuner cars, race cars and trucks, old school muscle, Aussie classics, Hot Rods, heavy vehicles, and prestige luxury and sports cars. You name it, it is likely Ben has detailed it. His skills has also earnt the vehicles he has worked on some silverware along the way too. Most recently two classic Lamborghinis taking home a trophy each with 1 Miura awarded best of show at the 2021 Auto Italia event in Canberra and second being Countach which won best restoration at the 2021 Sydney Harbour Conours event.
Early in his career, Ben became a Meguiar’s certified professional detailer and paint correction specialist. Recently Ben was awarded an official Swissvax Australia Authorised detailer status after completing a rigorous certification program at Swissvax Australia HQ in Perth, Western Australia. Ben is one of only a small group of hand – picked professionals taken on by Swissvax Australia owner Terry McLaughlan. Ben has vast experience in multi-stage paint correction and restoration as well as the more difficult art form of colour sanding. With his extensive technical skills and knowledge, coupled with only the finest premium products from world renowned brands such as Swissvax, Rupes, 22ple, and Max Protect means you can be confident that your vehicle is being treated to something special.
Ben specialises in automotive vehicle restoration of classic, vintage and enthusiast vehicles. Packages range from 1 day to 1 week and beyond and can be conducted in your garage or by appointment in Ben’s intimate, well equipped workshop.
